Now tell us a little more about the book! What can readers expect?

My book is about becoming intentional and purposeful in every area of one’s life. Intention is a very powerful force that sets everything in motion. Most of us go through life without really thinking about what we want and what do we need to do to achieve that. We lead disconnected lives where there is no sync between what we are doing and what we are feeling. This book enables readers to understand how to move through various existential challenges that we all encounter, like how to deal with change, uncertainty, how to make choices, how to be more mindful in our relationships, etc.

The language of my book is simple, easy to understand, it’s filled with bits and pieces of my personal story, and it also has reflections of some of the clients I have worked with who were able to make the necessary shifts in their lives.

It also has reflection exercises at the end of the chapters so that readers can start creating their own action plan for their own lives.

What inspired you to write this book?

The pandemic has been extremely harsh on everyone. While I was working with my clients, I realised that each one of us was grappling with the same or similar issues. There were questions about how to deal with change, how to handle uncertainty. Some were facing relationship issues and others were struggling with managing their own emotions.

One day I just started writing and before I realised, I had written an entire book!

What do you hope readers will take away from reading this book?

I hope that whoever reads this will get clarity on what they want for themselves in each area of their lives. They would be able to reflect on what steps they need to take to come closer to the kind of life they want and how they want to feel about it.

Consider this as a manual for your own life.

What has the road to becoming a published author been like for you?

It has had its ups and downs. I am both happy and humbled that whoever has read my book has given an amazing feedback.

Getting more readers becomes challenging especially for first time authors. However, the fact that my book is making a difference is enough for me.

How have you been coping with the current pandemic and what will be the new normal for you post it?

After the initial anxiety and panic, I have now settled in quite well. Work from home is the new normal for me and I am enjoying the perks of digital media! At the same time, I ensure that I am taking care of my health and staying active!

In times like this I am reminded of the song ‘Que Sera Sera... Whatever will be, will be’. So, I am always open to redefining my normal depending on the situation.

What are you reading currently? Do you have any book recommendations for our readers?

I am not reading anything at the moment but I’d certainly like to recommend my book The Intentional Being!
