Hello, Dr. Prashant! Tell us a bit about yourself!
My areas of interest are playing chess, reading, writing articles, and listening to Hindi and Kannada songs. I am also fascinated by the vibrant culture of India. The quest to discover the unknown also drew me to yoga, meditation and weight loss tips, and hence I came out with this book.

In this modern society and busy schedules, one should incorporate Yoga, Meditation, and daily workout in their lifestyles. In the book Lockdown Health, I have given a brief idea about how to do all these things in one’s life. The book also deals with obesity and its various treatment options, which includes yoga, meditation, abdominal workout, and also the myths of the weight loss industry. The book has been designed to provide easy access to relevant information with relevant tips, and an attempt has been made to provide sources which are free to access.
What was the moment when the idea of the book first came to be? What made you pursue it?
The idea for the book came during the lockdown, when I was attending an online workshop by Som Bathla. This book comes up from my research and experiences during the Covid-induced lockdown in 2020.
